Aaron Brooks Just Doesn't Get It
Aaron please just be quiet - you're hurting your cause.
Now some people never learn and should just be quiet, and one of those people is Aaron Brooks. Brooks got on a radio show and was spouting his opinion on the Saints, the NFL, and the commissioner. Now Aaron it is America and you have a right to say what you want but your choice of topics could have been better. First of all you threatened to quit football because your team has had to move a lot lately just to practice. Be for real Aaron sure it's not fair to the Saints, but is it fair to the millions of people who have lost their homes and are just trying to get by day after day. Are you really that worried about things, is it really that bad? Seems not, if all you can do is complain because you have to practice on a high school football field then something is wrong.

Aaron you make millions of dollars doing something your supposed to love to do. Quit whining about it and adjust to it this year. How about the residents who lost everything to hurricane Katrina? Think they had no adjustments to make? Of course they aren't making millions of dollars a year either. Put your energies into positive things like helping the hurricane victims or be an advocate for the homeless left behind by Katrina. The way you're going about things just isn't right and all it does is make you bad like a rich kid who cares about no one but himself.

Look at the many positive things you could do Aaron. How about take some displaced kids to a game to watch the Saints play. Give a hand to help displaced homeowners rebuild their homes or start new ones. Aaron I understand you have issues with the commissioner and you have a right to. But, yelling and screaming about it over the airwaves just doesn't seen right. Stand behind the people of New Orleans who lost more than a practice facility and these people will help you bring the fight to the commissioner.

Instead of dividing people work to unite for a common cause and then your power will be that much greater. The commissioner will be forced to listen to your grievances, otherwise it's just one man bitching about getting his own way. Katrina victims will be thankful for your help and the work you do will be more worthwhile to you than anything the commissioner could say to you anyway.
